“To house the souvenir shops and other small retail outlets, Hemisfair designers adopted the style of the traditional Latin-American market stall, altered it to satisfy contemporary needs and then bound several together into colorful clusters dotted throughout the site.” (HemisFair Guidebook, 1968)
