“The marvel of telephone systems for the future and the fun of programmed learning are combined in the Bell Telephone System pavilion to highlight the importance of communications to man’s progress and civilization” (HemisFair Guidebook, 1968).

This pavilion highlighted the importance of communication in the evolution of Civilization past, present and future. It showcased the new features of the phone system in the modern electronic age including video phone and high speed computerized connections. Another neat feature was an attended area where visitors could place local or long distance calls.
